Our Mission
Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, & Return (TNVR)
Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, & Return (TNVR) is described by Alley Cat Allies “as a program in which a feral/stray community cat is humanely trapped (with a humane trap), brought to a veterinarian clinic to be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, ear-tipped (the universal sign that a community cat has been fixed and vaccinated), and then returned to its outdoor home where the community cat was originally trapped”.
Best Friends Animal Society describes TNVR as putting a stop to the endless numbers of kittens born outside who ultimately suffer. TNVR allows cats to have longer, healthier lives without producing litter after litter of kittens.
Delta’s Feral Friends and Sanctuary is a TNVR organization. We are NOT a rescue organization. We do not have a shelter facility or provide fostering services. Our main focus is the Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, & Return (TNVR) of community cats.
If you have questions about community cats and the TNVR process, please contact us via our email address. We will be happy to assist you with helping community/feral cats in and around Franklin County/Zebulon, NC. If you need assistance outside of our area, please check out the following websites to find resources on TNVR in other NC areas.
