Caring for Our Community's Feral Cats
Welcome to Delta’s Feral Friends & Sanctuary, a dedicated nonprofit organization operating entirely through the passion of volunteers in Franklin County, NC.
Our mission revolves around the compassionate management of feral and stray cats within our community. By implementing the Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, & Return (TNVR) method, we strive to create a safer and healthier environment for these resilient felines while promoting harmony between them and local residents.
At Delta’s, we believe that education is key to fostering understanding and support for community cats. We actively engage with the public to share valuable insights about the importance of TNVR and how it benefits both the cats and the community at large. Our team is here to assist you in trapping, spaying/neutering, vaccinating, and safely returning these cats to their familiar surroundings, ensuring they receive the care they deserve without disrupting their natural habitats.
In addition to our TNVR efforts, we are committed to addressing the medical needs of individual cats on a case-by-case basis. Our facility includes a dedicated quarantine area to provide specialized care for those requiring additional attention. Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of feral and stray cats, fostering a compassionate community that values and protects all its residents.

how feral cats help us
Feral cats play a significant role in the ecosystem by helping to control rodent populations, which can prevent the spread of disease and protect local wildlife.
Compassionate Care
Above all else, we work to provide care in emergency situations and also to maintain healthy colonies.

Testimonials
What our friends say about US
I have never TNVR’d a cat before. I reached out on a statewide Facebook page to get suggestions and help. Delta’s Feral Friends drove 45 minutes to loan me a trap and teach me what to do. Then they helped me with a low cost spay appointment.
I met a volunteer of Delta’s Feral Friends as we were both part of a group of volunteers feeding local Zebulon community cats. They took the initiative to TNVR cats in the various colonies, get medical help when needed, and build shelters. This was my first experience with TNVR and they provided valuable information and taught me all about the process. It’s a lot of hard work and dedication.
Julie is amazing with the feral cats that she cares for. I have known and worked with Julie for almost 20 years, and have always been impressed with her commitment to quality medical care. The cats are humanely trapped, transported to an appropriate facility , and then given full medical work-ups. The animals are spayed and neutered, vaccinated, treated for parasites, and any medical issues are addressed. Julie insists on providing full care for the animals to give them the best chances at living a healthy life.
